What cloud providers does StackGen work with?
Our early access includes AWS and Azure. GCP is coming soon.
I have templates, can I use them with StackGen?
StackGen does the work for you! Based on your application code, we’ll infer your IaC. From there, simply drag and drop any additional requirements.
Do I need to learn another programming language?
No! StackGen works with Java and Python. We will soon be adding support for many more languages. Don’t learn another language, use what you already got!
Do I get limited functionality with the developer edition?
The developer edition allows you to try the SaaS version of StackGen.
Is my application code safe?
Of course! But we do know you want to be careful with your code. That’s why we give you many ways to consume StackGen from our playground to SaaS to a local scan using our CLI, to a full on-prem edition. Choose your adventure!
I want to try StackGen but do not have a repo to use. How can I try it?
If you don't have a repo to connect, you can use the demo repo made available in the dev edition after sign up.
What do I need to connect to make StackGen work?
Developer edition users can connect to their source code management tool such as GitHub or GitLab, or use the CLI for local scanning.
