About the Role:

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in India to support pipeline generation for our DevOps SaaS platform focused on platform engineering and internal developer platforms (IDPs). This role will focus on engaging engineering organizations in North America, particularly platform, DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams responsible for improving developer productivity and operational scalability.

You will be on the front line of our go-to-market motion—identifying target accounts, engaging technical stakeholders, and qualifying opportunities that align with platform engineering initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect into North American engineering organizations with a focus on platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, and cloud infrastructure teams
  • Research accounts to identify platform maturity, cloud environments, and internal developer platform initiatives
  • Engage personas such as: Platform Engineering Leads, DevOps & SRE Managers, Infrastructure & Cloud Architects, VP / Director of Engineering
  • Run outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) using messaging aligned to platform engineering challenges
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on platform use cases, team size, tooling complexity, and buying intent
  • Schedule high-quality discovery meetings and transition qualified opportunities to Account Executives
  • Maintain clean, accurate CRM records (activities, notes, qualification data)
  • Partner with Marketing on platform-focused campaigns, ABM initiatives, and messaging refinement
  • Meet or exceed monthly pipeline and meeting targetsWho You Are
    • 1–3 years of experience as an SDR or BDR in B2B SaaS
    • Experience selling to or prospecting into technical buyers is strongly preferred
    • Comfortable working North American business hours from India
    • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate technical value clearly
    • Curious about how engineering teams build and operate internal platforms
    • Coachable, metrics-driven, and motivated by clear goals and growth

    Nice to Have

    • Familiarity with platform engineering concepts such as: Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), Self-service infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and cloud-native tooling, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi)
    • Exposure to DevOps, SRE, or developer tooling companies
    • Experience using sales engagement and CRM tools (HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
    • Prior experience supporting mid-market or enterprise accounts in North America
